Today’s Transfer Rumours

Nice have been prevented from registering new signing Hatem Ben Arfa by FIFA.

The playmaker, who was a free agent after being released from Newcastle United, joined Le Gym last Monday but was not available for Saturday’s win over Lorient as he awaited international clearance.

The problem was due to the clause in FIFA’s transfer regulations which states that a player cannot play for more than two clubs in the same season.

Real Madrid are ready to make a £77 million move for Paul Pogba.

The Daily Star reports that according to media stories in Italy, Madrid want to make the Juventus and France midfielder next summer’s Galactico.

Chelsea, Manchester City and former club Manchester United are all thought to be monitoring his situation.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of young Arsenal striker Benik Afobe for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old Londoner has scored 19 goals in 30 games since starting what was originally intended to be a season-long loan with League One side MK Dons.

Striker Kevin Doyle, 31, has returned to Molineux from his half-season loan at Crystal Palace, and forward Bjorn Siguardarson, 23, has joined Danish side FC Copenhagen on loan until the end of the season.
