Serie A giants Juventus are said to be interested in Radamel Falcao, which would end his poor stay at Manchester United.
The Colombian hasn’t been in the best of form since joining the Red Devils on transfer deadline day in the summer.
Italian source TuttoSport claim that the side from the Juventus Stadium are weighing up a bid for the striker who has six goals out of 20 appearances in England this campaign.
In his press conference yesterday, United boss Louis van Gaal admits he is desperately trying to find a way of solving the Falcao situation.
Van Gaal said: “Falcao didn’t play his best match in the second team but he tried to do his utmost best, more I can’t ask of players.
“I let my players play in the second squad. I have read that it’s a ‘humiliation’ but I don’t think so.
“It’s a professional attitude, a professional attitude of the manager, of his management of the club but especially also from the player.
“Not only Falcao has played, also Valdes, also Rafa da Silva has played.
“Rafa da Silva played a very good match and scored a wonderful goal and because of that he can grab his confidence again.”
