Tottenham striker Harry Kane has earned himself a first senior England call-up for the games against Lithuania and Italy at the end of the month.
The 21-year-old, who has scored 26 goals in 42 games this season, is part of a 24-man squad named by Roy Hodgson.
“I think the whole country is excited about Harry,” said the England manager. “It would have been a surprise if he wasn’t selected.”
Kane is named alongside Tottenham team-mate Kyle Walker.
