Valencia have reportedly expressed interest in bringing another two Benfica players over to the Mestalla this summer. Recent suggestions are stating that the Spanish club are looking to bring in both Nicolas Gaitan and Eduardo Salvio.
According to Portuguese media outlet O Jogo, Valencia are so impressed with the signings of Enzo Perez, Andre Gomes and Rodrigo Moreno over the past year from the Portuguese giants, they that want to go back for more from Jorge Jesus’ side.
Over the past year, Valencia have been continuously linked with Gaitan. The 27-year-old midfielder holds the qualities that are needed to play in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. On the other hand, this is the first time that the club have been linked with Eduardo Salvio, the former Atletico Madrid winger.
However, it seems Valencia aren’t the only team interested in these players and could face competition. According to reports, Chelsea, Reading, Celtic, Hamburg, Granada, Sassuolo and Belenenses were all in attendance for Benfica’s most recent 5-1 win over Academica.
