Marotta – Vidal won’t ditch Juve

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has insisted that no players will be leaving the Serie A champions, to join Spanish side Real Madrid.

Marotta went on to state that moving to Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be a ‘step down’ for any of the Bianconeri stars.

The director of the Turin club says that a move to Madrid for Vidal would never happen, as the club from the Bernabei aren’t on the same level as the men from the Juventus stadium,

Juventus beat Real Madrid 3-2 on aggregate in the Semi-Final stage of the Champions League, to set-up a tie with Barcelona in the final, in Berlin on 6th June,

Pirlo & co. have already been crowned Serie A champions, and more recently beat Lazio 2-1 in extra time to be crowned Coppa Italia champions. A win in Berlin vs The Catalans would crown the Bianconeri as treble winners, what an achievement.

Marotta doesn’t believe any of his players would depart Turin in order to play their football in Spain with Ronaldo and co. The same Madrid side who have failed to win any major silverware this summer, bar the Club World Cup.

Speaking to Tuttosport, here’s what Marotta had to say: “No, Vidal or any player will not go to Real Madrid, because Juventus is stronger.”
