Borrusia Monchengladbach are the latest team to express their interest in AS Roma’s midfielder, Radja Nainggolan.
The 26-year-old is currently co-owned by Roma and Cagliari, but the former are increasing their interest in becoming full owners of the Belgian star.
However, this has turned into a sticky situation. There has been no agreement between the two clubs that co-own the star, to see who has full rights. Cagliari’s relegation may play a part when it comes to the final deal. Of course Roma are interested in becoming full-time owners, but they have to agree with Cagliari’s rights.
Sky Sports Italia are reporting that Bundesliga side ‘Gladbach have contacted the player’s representatives, to enquire about his availability, making a move if a deal is on the cards.
With Die Fohlen’s Champions League qualification for next season secured after finishing the Bundesliga season in 3rd spot, they are looking to strengthen this summer as much as they can, before they head into battle with European’s elite. The Belgian is seen as a perfect prospect to bring in a player alongside Thorgan Hazard and co.
This season, Nainggolan has been capped 43 times, picking up five goals and 3 assists, 14 yellows and not a red card in sight all campaign.
