According to Sky Sport Italia, Sevilla have given AC Milan permission to talk to Carlos Bacca.
The 28-year-old Europa League winning striker has been linked with a move away from La Liga, with both Roma and Liverpool keen on his services. His current price tag is valued at around €25m.
On Friday evening, it was reported that Sevilla had accepted an initial offer from Milan, and allowed the Serie A club to enter further negotiations with Bacca’s representatives.
Adil Rami would be part of any deal that involves brining Bacca to the San Siro, so the Rossoneri currently have the upper hand in this deal.
Milan are also finalising a deal for Roma’s Andrea Bertolacci, so the weekend looks to be a busy one for the Italian side.
Midfielder Bertolacci is set to take his Milan medical on Monday, so he can then complete his €20m switch.
