At best, Jese Rodriguez’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain. There is now a big concern about the youngster’s growth as a footballer, and a loan deal is now a possibility for the former Castilla player.
Even though last season he bagged five goals and grabbed seven assists, game time for Jese was limited and he had to watch Lucas Vazquez jump over him in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid are firm believers that the best bet for the Spanish international is to head out on loan to a side where he will be guaranteed playing time. Los Blancos believe that they haven’t seen the best of Rodriguez since he returned from his cruciate knee ligament tear back in 2014.
Seeing as Rodriguez is only 23-years-old, there is plenty of room for him to grow, but needs playing time to be able to do so. Given the excellent talent ahead of him in the Real Madrid XI including Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Bernabeu isn’t the place to attempt to improve.
At the end of next year, Jese’s current deal with the La Liga giants comes to an end, but the player’s agent is already working with the club in an attempt to keep the Spaniard at his boyhood club beyond 2017.
